HOW TO POP HIGHER SKATEBOARD TRICKS
Skateboarders are often curious about how to get more pop from their tricks.
Brandon Biebel is the skateboarder I picture when I think about skateboarders who are pop. This guy has a good snap, and a great vertical jump which allows him to do tricks higher than most of us.
When increasing your pop power, there are many factors to consider.
Three parts are required to answer the question:
1) Position Better 2) Pop Harder
3) Jump Higher
Better
You can make your tricks pop more by using certain foot positions. It’s up you to determine the best position. Although you can request opinions, it is likely that your personal preferences will dictate the positioning.
If you want more pop, for example, I would advise that your front foot be placed lower than usual below the front bolts and that your knees are higher than normal. As you get over the obstacle, grab the Ollie.
It is important to choose the best position. Certain pressure points on your board will give you more pop than others. You’ll get more pop if you can find the right foot position for each trick.
Pop harder is a key tip to getting more height with your tricks. Higher tricks will be able to pop harder.
However, a brand new skateboard will give you a lot more pop than a second-hand one. This is especially true for those who regularly wear down their skateboard’s tail. Do not do this.
You can get that sharp pop from a new deck by buying a new board every 90-days or sooner.
